Naomi Osaka Just Revealed Her Takashi Murakami Racket, Let's Look Back At Her Other Dope Collabs

Tennis star Naomi Osaka is everywhere. The four-time Grand Slam winner lit the torch at this year's Olympics and has charmed the world with her fierce competitive spirit and admirable authenticity.

Earlier this year, she bowed out of the French Open after refusing to speak to the media, sparking a debate about mental health in the sports world. She's in her Jordan Year at age 23 and has been expected to display an incredible amount of maturity for a young woman just trying to love her sport.

As the highest-paid female athlete of today with a net worth of $60 million, she's proof that money can't buy happiness. But it does allow for some fun with some of your idols.

Here's a look at Naomi Osaka's dopest collabs:

Naomi Osaka x Takashi Murakami Racket

Naomi Osaka got a ray of sunshine this week when she received the racket that she designed with the one and only Takashi Murakami. The two share Japanese heritage and the tennis star said "to be able to collaborate together is really a dream." The EZONE racket and matching bag by Yonex is light pink with cherry blossoms on it. The design combines both of their logos, with Osaka's bear holding a signature Murakami multicolored flower.

Osaka is planning on debuting the racket at the U.S. Open starting later this month.

Naomi Osaka x sweetgreen Bowl

Earlier this year, she got the Naomi Osaka Bowl at sweetgreen after she became the company's youngest investor. The bowl was made of everything Osaka would order in her usual trips to the eatery (she said she'd go there up to three times a week): warm quinoa, baby spinach, cilantro, tomato, tortilla chips, raw carrots, goat cheese, blackened chicken, lime-cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette, avocado, and Sweetgreen hot sauce.

Sweetgreen cited their shared desire to promote health and wellness as a reason the partnership was perfect. The restaurant chain also said they wanted to work with the tennis star to support the AAPI community.

Naomi Osaka x Barbie Doll

Every little girl's dream! Naomi Osaka first worked with Barbie in 2019 on their Shero campaign, but got her very own Naomi Osaka Barbie Role Model doll in July. The doll's outfit is based on the watercolor Nike dress she wore for the 2020 Australian Open. Fans clamored for the collectible and it sold out in minutes.

Barbie cited Osaka's activism as one of the reasons they wanted to celebrate her. Amid the international unrest that swept 2020, Osaka used social media to speak out against injustices and wore face masks bearing the names of victims of police brutality.

"Obviously Naomi's athletic skill is unmatched, that's a fact," designer Carlyle Nuera said. "But what I personally admire the most about Naomi Osaka is how she uses her platform, the spotlight on her and her voice, to raise awareness about social justice."

Naomi Osaka x Comme des Garçons x Nike Blazers

Naomi Osaka has been a Nike athlete since 2019 when she left adidas for the Swoosh. Checks over Stripes is what the kids say. As part of her deal, she got to design her own Blazer with Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons. The shoe is light gray with Osaka's and CDG's names repeated in a pattern as the backdrop for her signature and the handwritten saying "Home Is Where the Heart Is." It released in December and is now reselling for up to $500.
